WINTER DATE NIGHT OUTFITS
Whether it’s your first date with someone new, or your 100th date with your significant other, you always want to look cute on date night. We all know how much of a struggle dressing cute in the winter can be so we have come up with a few outfit ideas and suggestions that can hopefully spark some inspiration for your next date night this winter season.
Play Up (Or Down) A Pair Of Jeans
Jeans are a staple for a reason. You can wear them casually or easily dress them up. Jeans are a great go-to for date night because you can wear them for all different types of dates, such as the movies, out to dinner, to grab drinks, etc. It all depends how you wear them. In the winter you can pair them with a chunky sweater that you feel cute in while also keeping you warm. Or you can wear it with a blouse as long as you layer up with a heavier jacket and a scarf.
Do Not Knock Tights
It is totally okay to want to expose some skin on date night. However, in the winter, make sure you do it tastefully and do not wind up freezing yourself to death. A cute midi or mini dress is a super cute and feminine outfit for a date. But, add a pair of tights to keep your legs a little bit warmer. If you feel like your look is on the simpler side, wear a pair of fun tights to jazz up the outfit. You can wear a sheer pair, metallic pair, or a patterned pair!
Leather Jacket
A leather jacket can make almost any outfit look date night appropriate. Even if you and your date are planning on having a relaxing night in on the couch and you decide to wear sweats. Throwing on a leather jacket with a pair of comfy clothes makes it instantly more chic and will definitely add a whole other element to your outfit. Plus, depending on the quality and weight, a leather jacket is a really stylish option for a jacket in the colder weather.
Skirts Skirts Skirts
Another cute, feminine option for date night, a skirt. There are so many different types of skirts on the market this season that your options are honestly endless. Like a dress, you can wear a shorter length skirt and really spice it up with a fun pair of tights. Or go for a silk midi skirt, it is elegant but can also be dressed up or down depending on what you wear on top but remember to bundle up on top as much as you can. Plus, a skirt looks good with sneakers or boots, so depending on the location and time of your date, you have multiple options for footwear as well.
Do not let the thought of having to get date-night ready in the dead of winter discourage you. There are plenty of outfit options out there that will leave you feeling super cute and confident while still dressing appropriately and according to the harsh temperatures outside.
