HOW TO DRESS CASUALLY AND STILL FEEL GOOD

Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone! We are sure that you are looking fabulous today, whether it be that you are spending the day with your significant other or your best gal pals! We hope our suggestions from our last blog post gave you some awesome v-day fit inspo!
When the Valentines festivities are over and you have a weekend full of running errands or a relaxed weekend binging Netflix, or if you are lucky enough to work somewhere where casual attire is acceptable, We have curated a list of a few tips to make sure you still feel your best even when you’re dressing casually. In fact, as of a few years ago, athleisure has become one of the most popular trends in fashion. Making it a whole lot easier to feel comfortable and look decadent. We’re going to break down how to pair your casual outfits with designer pieces.

Put Comfort First

It is important that when you’re dressing casually, you still look and feel radiant. We all want to feel and look great when it comes to getting dressed in the morning and we want to feel confident in whatever we decide to put on that day. Luckily because there are so many different options on the market in terms of casual attire, you should not struggle to find something that makes you feel your best. There are a bunch of trends out there today that cater to the more casual vibe, but if none of them are really you, get creative and wear what you want to wear.

Work With Your Body

When it comes to looking your best we all must feel our best, so let’s break down what we feel great in. If you are uncomfortable with wearing a pair of leggings, go for a jogger or a sweatpant that does not necessarily hug your body the way leggings do. If you are the opposite and do not like the way that you look in a baggier pant, leggings might be for you. Also, jeans are an awesome way to feel confident while still remaining casual, so make sure you find a pair of jeans that are perfect for you and rock them with a t-shirt or sweatshirt and sneakers!

Incorporate Color

For those of us that stick to dressing casually because of a hectic schedule, your wardrobe can tend to have repeats of the same shades, blacks, greys, and whites. As someone who appreciates the classic look of simple shades, we thought given the festivity of the holiday we would try to branch out and embrace incorporating a pop of color with a classic staple. If you are a big t-shirt person and mainly stick to black and white, go for an olive green, navy blue or muted pink. These colors are still super subtle but are definitely a step up from your basics.

Embrace Accessories

Accessories are probably the best way to take any outfit from a teetering 6.5 to a solid 10. Layering a bunch of dainty necklaces, rings and/or bracelets can make the most casual of looks look super chic and put together. You can honestly even rack up the jewelry if you decide to wear leggings and a sweatshirt that day. There is something super cool about sporting a super laid back look and taking it to the next level by throwing on a bunch of your favorite jewelry. If necklaces, bracelets or rings are not your thing, a pair of hoop earrings are another awesome way to spruce up a casual outfit.

Wear A Set

A super popular trend at the moment, and probably our favorite tip of all. Matching sets and co-ords. Wearing a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie that are matching is one of the easiest ways to not only be the most comfortable you could possibly be, but also look way more put together than most people. It looks super clean and depending on how you accessorize, what shoes you decide to pair with it and by incorporating some of that jewelry we discussed, you are sure to pull off one of the most popular looks in today's fashion world.

Whether you opt for one of the options above or take matters into your own hands, do not be afraid to dress for you, dress for comfort and wear what you feel your best in every single day!
